slapcat and utf8

Hello,

Is there a possibility to get slapcat/ldapsearch working in UTF8.
Even if the pty is not working with utf8 fonts, it's easier for us to read 
the output. Base64 is not readable for us.. and each éè is generating base64.

ldapadd works natively in utf8

Could be a very little and useful change ( for non english people )
