slapindex

Does slapindex not delete the preexisting indices by default?  I had a
corrupted index that was causing lookup problems.  I reindexed that
thing several times.  I noticed my logs were growing by leaps and bounds
and figured out that slapd was spewing errors left and right.  The one
thing that finally fixed it was deleting the indexes and running
slapindex over again.
