Re: AW: how to add a .jpg

I did the following:

Create a file my.modify containing:

dn: uid=someguy, dc=mydomain, dc=com
changetype: modify
add: jpegPhoto
jpegPhoto:< file:///home/yourdir/images/pic01.jpg

Then the command:

/usr/local/bin/ldapmodify -D "cn=Manager, dc=mydomain,
dc=com" -W < my.modify

However, this mimes the data and places it into the
LDAP database. Is there a way to do this such that
only a pointer to the jpg is created in the database?
(or a URL).
