attribute syntax question

Hi there,

I've got the following attribute:

attributetype ( 1.2.840.113556.1.17.12
        NAME 'DNSipaddr'
        EQUALITY numericStringMatch
        SUBSTR numericStringSubstringsMatch
        SYNTAX 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.36 )

I've been using it successfully, adding this attribute many times with
OpenLDAP 2.0.7.
Ever since I've upgraded to 2.0.8, I get this a syntax error, here's
the error in my logs:

slapd[95189]: conn=110 op=89 ADD
dn="CN=NS1:90,CN=99.99.216.IN-ADDR.ARPA,OU=DNS,DC=GLOBALRELAY,DC=NET"
slapd[95189]: conn=110 op=89 RESULT tag=105 err=21 text=DNSipaddr:
value #0 contains invalid data

The value is just an ip address, with no spaces before, or spaces
after....

I've tried this add in two different ldap clients as well (gq in
linux, and softerra in win2k)...

Is there anything wrong with this attributetype entry in the schema?
