ldap_delete; operation error

Hello all,

I have successfully installed openldap v1.2.11 and am working on it 
since last one month, now i have 30,000 entries in the ldbm database.
When i add new entry it gets added and when i try to delete the same 
entry ldap_delete is returning error LDAP_OPERATIONS_ERROR. If i delete 
the entry added previously it works fine. The access rights is as below

access to * by * write --- in my slapd.conf

What is the problem ?
