attributes and schema

Hi,

another small question:

I start my slapd.conf with "schemacheck=off" (ok, it's not that clean but
that's what I need or I would have to rewrite our old ldif file completely).
After that I add the schema includes for "core.schema, cosine.schema,
nis.schema"
Now I wonder: are these includes needed?

And a second question: when I want to add an extra attribute to ldap, eg:

tttt: testtest

I get an error "undefined attribute type". Does this mean I have to define
this type somewhere in a schema?
I thought this wasn't necessary when using schemacheck=off. Or is there a
way to define a default attribute type?
