Solaris 8 & Red Hat clients

Have openldap server running on a RH 6.2.  Want this server to serve both
Solaris 8 and Red Hat client.  Having problems setting up the Solaris 8 box
as a client (using ldapclient(1M)) to RH 6.2 and openldap.  Any recommended
how-tos for Solaris 8 ldap client to Linux ldap server?
