   Inside your LDAP ldbm directory you can execute the following:

   Backup: ldbmcat -n id2entry.gdbm > your_base.ldif
   Restore: ldif2ldbm -i your_base.ldif

   The .gdbm extension is an example. It depends on the db library you use
(in this example, GNUdbm).
