Versions with higher patch levels include more patches.
Patches are generally bug fixes.  See CHANGES for details.

The project make no recommendations as the software is provided
without warranty or guarantee to the suitability for any task.
2.0 is regarded by the project as suitable for general use but
not yet as stable as the last 1.2 release.  Your mileage may vary.
