password-hash

Hello,


I'd like my openLDAP server (V2.0.7) automatically crupts the contents of the attribute userpassword into sha when I change this attribute in plain/text.
  In slapd.conf, I wrote: 
password-hash {SHA}

It does not work, the password is in plain text. 

Why?
