Re: Odd problem with OpenLDAP and Proftpd

Jerry,

Yes, the nsswitch.conf file have the same configuration on both.
machines. This is the only difference I've found on libnss* :

pegasus:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root  root 96944 mar 31  2000 /lib/libnss_ldap-2.1.3.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root  root    20 oct 13 13:42 /lib/libnss_ldap.so.1
->libnss_ldap-2.1.3.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root  root    20 oct 13 13:42 /lib/libnss_ldap.so.2
->libnss_ldap-2.1.3.so

perseus:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root  root 111267 Oct 27 18:00 /lib/libnss_ldap-2.1.3.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root  root     20 Oct 30 17:01 /lib/libnss_ldap.so.1
->libnss_ldap-2.1.3.so
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root  root     20 Oct 30 17:01 /lib/libnss_ldap.so.2
->libnss_ldap-2.1.3.so

Although both are 2.1.3 version, note the difference in size. I don't
know however if it would explain the problem. AFAIK I've used the
same RPMs. I will check again, however.

Thanks for your advice.

JA.
