rootdn location
Hi,
when using simple bind, has the rootdn entry to be located below the
suffix?
I have a suffix of "dc=directory,dc=dfn,dc=de". With
rootdn "cn=admin,dc=directory,dc=dfn,dc=de"
simple bind works fine. But if I remove the suffix part, i.e. use
rootdn "cn=admin"
binding fails: ldap_bind: Invalid credentials
[OpenLDAP 2.0.6 with TLS]
