I recently installed OpenLDAP 2.0.6 and tried doing a search:
bash-2.04# ldapsearch -x -s base -b 'cn=monitor' 'objectclass=*'
version: 2
#
# filter: objectclass=*
# requesting: ALL
#
# search result
search: 2
result: 32 No such object
# numResponses: 1
Has this changed in v2?
