RE: Java APIS for LDAP



Sun's JNDI provides an abstracted interface if you're considering
other directory services besides LDAP.  If you're committed to
LDAP, I would suggest Mozilla's Java SDK:

http://www.mozilla.org/directory/javasdk.html

JNDI has extra overhead that you don't want if you don't need
the abstraction.
