how can i remove a screwed up entry?

using web2ldap i managed to screw up an entry and now i can't remove it.

the suffix is o=Company Name, c=AU

my dn's usually are cn=Full Name, o=Company Name, c=AU

but i screwed up this one and so it looks like

cn=Full Name,o=Company Name,c=AU, o=Company Name, c=AU

when i try to do an ldap_delete 'cn=Full Name,o=Company Name,c=AU,
o=Company Name, c=AU' -D whatever -W

i get:
ldap_delete: Operations error

a look at ldap.log shows:

[slapd] conn=383 op=1 RESULT err=1 tag=107 nentries=0

leaving off the final o and c results in No such object, so i'm assuming
i'm getting the dn right.

thanks in advance.
