OK, solved the problem by removing the functionality of the UPPER and
LOWER macros in
...include/ac/ctype.h

The problem can be solved in a more clever way by going through the
code, but we have no time.

Now you have to insert and search all the data in the directory
case-sensitive, but it works at least when you autenticate people from
NES. ;)

Btw, Netscape Directory Server (<= 4.0) also "cheats".
