Using OpenLDAP as a Corportae Adressbook with Netscape

It's a silly question I know:

The idea is to have an LDAP-Server (running on Linux) where all
corporate users can add and modify entries over Netscape's Communicator
Adressbook.

Is it possible ? It should be.

How do I have to set up a minimum ldif-file and slapd.conf to get this
working ?

At the moment I cannot connect to my LDAP-Server by user and password
through the Adressbook. There's an Error-Message mail id isn't unique.
But it is. What the hell does this message mean. Are there specific
Objects used by Netscape ?

Thanks for all help
