Using non-English characters in names with Outlook and OpenLDAP

Hi everyone! I've been using openldap to provide my company with an address book for Outlook. It works fine except for one tinny thing :)

When I'm using LDAP Browser (a java app by Jarek Gawor available at http://www.iit.edu/~gawojar/ldap) characters like "ã" and "ê" work fine. However when I look at them with Outlook it all seems garbled.

Does anyone have any idea on how I should insert the characters into OpenLDAP so that they display fine in Outlook ?
