setting up outlook/openldap

Hi,

I'm completely new to openldap.  I just compiled it and installed it.  Now
what?  These are the things I'd like to do but don't yet know how, or where
to find information on them:

Right now, we use sendmail to process all of our email.  All users have a
basic linux account.  What I'd like to happen is for openldap to recognize
those accounts and display them in the outlook address book (I have the ldap
plugin for outlook installed, but nothing shows up)

I'd also like users to share out their outlook shedules/calendars.

Any hints/tips/direction at all would be appreciated as I am a complete
newbie to ldap.
