Re: Netscape calendar

We have. It's actually not that difficult. You just need to load the
appropriate nscalendar.so.conf and nscalendar.at.conf in the slapd.conf
file (don't hold me on those exact nscal*.conf filenames, it should be
rather obvious once youve got the Calendar server.) Make sure those
things are loaded up in your OpenLDAP server and then install the Calendar
server and point it towards the OpenLDAP server.
If you've already got a running Calendar server and don't want to
reinstall then you can just export everything to an LDIF off your existing
LDAP server and copy and paste all the nscal* attributes (there can be
15-20 or so of them for each user.) Don't foget all the resources you've
created (if you have any) also, the server itslef puts something like 6
entries in that need to be moved over.
The easiest is to install Calendar fresh though. We actually gave up on
Netscape Calendar here. We're now using CS&T Corporate Time which is
where Netscape got (is still getting?) it's product from (notice the CS&T
logo on the login screen.) Updates come out way faster and performance
seems to be better than the Netscape product. Any, that's a little
irrelevant for you.
So, in short, it's pretty straightforward.
