A question about subclassinf a schema

I'm at the beginning of an private ldap project and i have a question about
subclassing an existing schema.

For my evaluation purpose i use OpenLDAP 1.2.3 on a linux box. My frontend
will be the apache with php3 and the ldap module. 

I want to make an inventory for pc's and other stuff in an edp environment.
Because i don't want to reinvent the wheel, i try to subclass existing
objectclasses.

Is it possible in LDAP v2 ? 

I want to make this:

objectclass dmperson
	superior person
	requires
		mail
		userPassword


Is it right, that a the attributes from person will be inherit to dmperson ?
