Locking LDAP database

I have Installed Netscape Directory Server 4.0 on Windows NT 4.0.
Everything seems to be working fine.
   My requirement is that I do not want two persons editing the LDAP
database at the same time.i.e , if someone is editing a Person's entry ,
I do not want anyone  else to be able to edit the  Directory till the
first  person has saved his changes and exited.Is there any way to do
this ???

   Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
