openLdap with Ldap Browser\Editor

Hi,
I'm not able to add an entry to the Ldap Directory from the client:
Ldap Browser\Editor v 2.5 by Jarek Gawor.
The server is on a machine with openBsd version 2.3.
I'm using OpenLDAP version 1.2.
It's the only operation that I cannot do with the browser:
I can delete, edit, rename an entry; I can add, delete and edit an
attribute
but I cannot add an entry.
Furthermore I can add an entry using the off-line and the on line
commands
(like /usr/local/bin/ldapadd -b -f /home/ldap/pippo.txt -D "cn=xxxx,
o=xxx, c=IT" -w xxxxxx -v -h localhost).
Anyone encountered this problem with the LDAP Browser/Editor v 2.5 by
Jarek Gawor?
