guide to LDAP db structure

I got my basic setup working thanks to this list.

I've seen  a reference to this some where, but I can't for the life of
me find it again.

I need a basic primer for structuring an LDAP database (what do all the
abbreviations mean, which are reserved, etc.)

I am initially building a rolodex-type client information system, but
will probably expand it to include as much as possible (a document
storage and retrieval system for archived documents is one possibility).
