University of Washington.  Mark Crispin's reference server for the IMAP
protocol.  ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/mail

The server uses about 412k on my 80486 with 20 Mb of RAM that is
currently doing everything for a user base of about 100.

The UW IMAP server supports a number of mailbox formats.  You can even
have multiple formats accessed by one user.
