RE: Ok, I'll show my ignorance...please help...?
I build my LDAP database by doing a "1-off" from the sample test db. At
least that way I could go in small steps and verify. I found it pretty
frustrating to spend a lot of time building a custom LDIF file and have it
not work right.
I've found LDAPTcl to be really useful in maintaining my directories after
that. I built a loadable dll for windows tcl so it's a reasonably portable
and I can do stuff like build tk guis for my users, and do things like
connect to odbc data sources to get the data I need to populate directories,
etc.
