Re: Netscape fails every now and then
This is a problem with Netscape on Linux, not with openLDAP. If you test
the other search directories they provide (yahoo, infospace,etc) they
reveal the same problem. It appears to be related to the amount of time
it takes for the server to respond, it will generally fail but sometimes
work with simple queries. It applies to both the address book and LDAP URL
queries.
I have sent bug reports to Netscape over the last several months and never
heard back.
