octet string question

Hi. I have a question about octet strings. We're using OpenLDAP to
store information about document services (printers, scanners, etc.)
and would like to store service descriptions (which are trees) as
octet strings. It appears from the LDAPV2 specs (e.g., RFC1777, 1778)
that octet strings are legal attribute values.

My question is what kind of attribute type (bin, cis, etc.) should be
specified for attributes that are to contain octet strings?
