authentication ?
I've installed the latest openldap version and are testing it as an
authentication server : we transformed most of the info of our password
file to an ldif file and have the server up and running.
We want to use it to authenticate homemade perl applications but we ran
into a (performance) problem :
I installed the perl-ldap-0.09 toolkit but i have a problem : the
bind requests seem always successfull. It is only after requesting
something of the server that you can see if the authentication was
successfull or not. We wonder if there is a (fast) one step procedure to
check if a password is ok or not.
What is the fastest tool/program/way to do simple username/password
authentication with LDAP ?
