SMTP: Postfix, Sendmail, or Exim. I think there might be something for
qmail as well. See http://www.<mailer>.org.

POP3/IMAP: There's a patch for Cyrus to let it authenticate users via
LDAP. See http://andrew2.andrew.cmu.edu/cyrus/cyrus.html for Cyrus info.
