duplicate entries

Hello,
	I am from the University of Pittsburgh, We have over 50K users.
After building the database, i try to use the ldapmodify command to make
changes to the datavase (add, delete, modify).  Most of the times it
works.  But sometimes it does not.  I have too many entires that have the
same dn.  Does anyone have any suggestions how to deal with duplicate dn
entries?  

Currently my dn entries are as follows:

dn: cn=SHLOMO BALASS, ou=Pittsburgh, o=University of Pittsburgh
