Installation Problem

Hello LDAP-Users,

I am new to the LDAP theme and just got started
to compile the whole stuff.

Downloading OPENLDAP V1.1 alpha and compiling
worked fine, but invoking the tests resulted
in the following error (Debug switched on)

ldbm_store returned Error 0 when trying to
create the id2entry.dbb.

This error only occurs with the Berkeley DB-
Backend 2.4.14.
Using gdbm, everything works fine.

For compilation I used gcc 2.8.1 on Irix 6.2

Can anyone enlighten me ?
