Status questions
I've been working with the OpenLDAP server some, and have a couple of
questions. When I delete an entry, its entry ID doesn't seem to get
deleted from its parent's children entries. That means I can never
delete the parent because LDAP always thinks it has children. Plus
I start getting messages that candidates aren't found on searches. Is
this something someone is working on, or does noone else see it as a
problem?
The other question is: is anyone working on an NT port? I had to get
slapd built on NT, but I hacked it up and I don't know if what I did
is useful to anyone else. I also used VC++, and I thought that might
be a no-no for an Open Source project.
