IMHO, RFC 2377's suggested overloading over the uid attribute to
contain RFC822 mailbox identifiers is unsatisfactory (modulo
section 4.2, which doesn't mandate it).
Other attributes, such as mail, exist for representing RFC822
addresses in the directory. I'd prefer to keep uids for user
IDs uniquely allocated within an organization (eg. login names).
