Which level does slapd send syslog mesgs to

Hi, According to the SLAPD Admin guide, using loglevel in the config
file should result in LOG_LOCAL4 mesgs being logged

I have compiled openldap-1.0.2 /Linux 2.0.34 with DEBUG
In my syslog.conf

local4.*		/var/log/ldaplog

kill -SIGHUP `cat /var/run/syslog.pid`

However, mesgs still seem to come on the console

I grepped the source, there seems to be a ifdef LDAP_SYSLOG but I
can't see a way to define it
