Not directly, to my knowledge; Netscape Communicator Address Book only
searches LDAP directories (it doesn't modify them).  You might want to
check in snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.communicator

However, there are HTTP-to-LDAP gateways, which enable one to modify
directory entries via forms displayed in Netscape Navigator.  E.g.
