same thing happened to me ...
you have to place the programs ldif2i* in the root / ;-)
This is only a quick solution.. or you have to tell ldif2ldbm
to search in the right place....
It has nothing to do with objectclasses..
try: strace ldif2ldbm ... (if possible)
