LDAP directory schema.

Hello All,
This is about the schema for a global service provider.
It is common for an organization to have the directory
structure
as cn=username,o=Organization,c=US

But if you are an ISP within a country like US
the structure could change to
uid=userid1,o=Organization1,c=US
uid=userid1,o=Organization2,c=US
and so on.

But what is the common practise or the correct stucture
for multicountry service provider.
If I have customers from Europe and Canada
what should I do?

Should I have a Directory server with mulitple
Directory Information Trees?

Like one for c=US, one for c=CA and so on?

This would mean, I should deploy multiple
servers for each directory enable application
like Messaging.

Does anyone have any experience deploying
directory services for such a global provider.

Thanks for any help,
Raj
