Problem running test007 on linux

Hi,

1.
I compiled OpenLDAP on two different linux boxes (586, 2.0.20; 486, 2.0.30).
The test007 (replication) failed on both machines? Can I use the compiled
binaries or must I expect any problems running the ldap server without
replication?

2.
I set the suffix to "o=private, c=DE". Also the root DN is changed to
"cn=root, o=private, c=DE". Also the referal to the global ldap server is
removed.
If I want to add any data I get only the error:
Referal or/and (?) partial data

or I get and
Insufficent access

error?

Can anybody explain what I made wrong?
