Re: ldap users auth to ldap ;)



Hello...

It appears that the LDAP_CRYPT patches have already been applied to
OpenLDAP. If you look in servers/slapd/back-ldbm/bind.c, you'll notice
that it supports Unix Crypt style passwords for binding if you define
LDAP_CRYPT.  This doesn't seemed to be defined by default, but it is
listed in the Make-common files.

You can then put something like {CRYPT}BlxkDhghdakGe or something equally
repulsive looking in your userPassword attributes.
