I did a quick diff of RE_22 and the BDB 4.3 patches I had downloaded and found that idl.c's changes never made it into RE_22. Passed this info on to Howard.

Yep, followed some bad advice from the BDB 4.3 Upgrade documentation.

The cursor->c_put(,,DB_CURRENT) doesn't appear to overwrite data elements as documented.

Reverted the bad patch in HEAD and all is well. Since the patch never went into RE22 there was no problem there.
