back-bdb quirk?

Hi,

I'm getting a failure (txn_prepare failed) when adding the 0x4000-th
entry both by slapadd/ldapadd; before I start digging, is there any 
stupid thing I forgot to configure? Using 2.1alpha with db-4.0.14.
