OpenLDAP2 & NS Roaming: Connection reset by peer

I've tried (yet again) getting NSRoaming to work with my OpenLDAP v2.0.7
server...

Using this LDIF

----- s n i p -----
dn: nsLIElementType=bookmarks,nsLIProfileName=turbo,ou=roaming,dc=papadoc,dc=bayour,dc=com
replace: nsLIData
nsLIData:< file:///home/operators/turbo/.netscape/bookmark.htm
nsLIElementType: bookmarks
owner: uid=turbo,ou=people,dc=papadoc,dc=bayour,dc=com
objectClass: nsLIProfileElement
nsLIVersion: 1
----- s n i p -----

I get this from the server (using '-d -1' with ldapadd)

----- s n i p -----
ldap_write: want=245865 error=Success
ldap_free_request (origid 5, msgid 5)
ldap_free_connection
ldap_free_connection: refcnt 1
ldap_perror
ldap_add: Can't contact LDAP server
ldif_record() = 81
ldap_unbind
ldap_free_connection
ldap_send_unbind
ber_flush: 7 bytes to sd 5
  0000: 30 05 02 01 06 42 00 0....B.
sasl_write: want=180404 error=Connection reset by peer
ldap_write: want=7 error=Connection reset by peer
ldap_free_connection: actually freed
adding new entry "nsLIElementType=bookmarks,nsLIProfileName=turbo,ou=roaming,dc=papadoc,dc=bayour,dc=com"
----- s n i p -----

Any ideas?

Doing searches and other modifications naturaly works, I've been running
this server live for a couple of months now...
