It's very unlikely that there's direct IP-forwarding between the
client machine and port 443 of a server on the outside.
But if the HTTP-proxy allows using HTTP CONNECT method you can use
simpleproxy (search freshmeat.net). AFAIK there was also a patch for
cvs to make the connection via HTTP CONNECT through a proxy.
