Could you please explain briefly what you mean with IPSEC support? IPSec
is a network layer protocol, so in general it does  not interfere with
application level stuff.  IPSec using an LDAP database seems the more
logical way around.
But I'm doing a bit of work on/with FreeS/WAN at the moment, so I may be
able to help out here.
