Okay, I've committed a change to add Gnu Make support. To test, move Make-common to Make-common.save. If your Gnu Make is not installed as make, you may have to define MAKE=gmake in Make-common. I would appreciate it folks who regularly use gnu make give this a whirl. I'd like to push this into stable as quickly as possible. Kurt
