FTR, this is not FreeBSD specific. I reproduced it easily on Linux 
(Debian unstable). Only happens when using OpenSLP 2.0.0, not with 
1.2.1. Have not figured out whether it's an OpenSLP bug or a change we 
need to adapt to.
