Ok, but it worked fine with OpenLDAP 2.4.11 + BDB 4.6 and OpenSSL 0.9.8j with
the same options ! What could I possibly be doing wrong ?

I will try to build OpenLDAP 2.4.14 with BDB 4.7.25 (+ 3 Oracle patches) and
OpenSSL 0.9.8j on RHEL 5 64bits this monday ....
