I would like to add that if you modify the script
test018-syncreplication-persist in order to import two different ldif
files in parallel the same problem occurs from time to time. The error
message is :

Filtering producer results...
Filtering consumer results...
Comparing retrieved entries from producer and consumer...
test failed - producer and consumer databases differ

I think this is a serious data integrity problem in the replication process.
The weakness of the test018 is that it does not test simultaneous
import of data.
