There is no indication of a software issue.  Either your system is not 
configured to implement SASL DIGEST-MD5 bind, or another software 
component is misconfigured.  This is all discussed in OpenLDAP's and 
SASL's documentation, so there is no need to open an ITS on the subject.

If you want to discuss your problem with other OpenLDAP users, please 
post to the openldap-software mailing list.  This ITS will be closed.
